Relaxation & self care feels better when you know that the products you're using are ethically sound. We created Salt + Steam because we wanted to be able to give people all-natural bath goodies that were ethical from start to finish.
OUR INGREDIENTS
We're in the business of making you feel (and smell) great. We hand-blend quality essential oils with our salts to create sumptuous scent combinations that enhance your mood, relax your mind and soothe your skin.
All of our ingredients (from our three different types of salt to our essential oils and botanicals) are totally natural. We source high-quality ingredients from ethical businesses to create beautiful products for our customers that are free of parabens, SLS, palm oil, artificial fragrances and harsh chemicals.
OUR PACKAGING & CARBON FOOTPRINT
We're yes people, usually. But when it comes to our products, we say NO to plastic, NO to excessive packaging and NO to waste. Good news for you, good news for the planet.
All our products are packaged in glass jars with cork lids and biodegradable, vegan stickers. They can be recycled, but we want you to reuse them - something you can easily do with our home compostable refill bags!
Your delivery will come in a recycled card box with your jars safely wrapped in FSC-certified Geami paper 'bubble wrap' which can all be recycled.
We also work with charity One Tree Planted to plant trees across the world, helping to offset our carbon footprint.
OUR STANCE ON ANIMAL TESTING
This is a biggie for us. After spending years struggling to find high-quality cosmetic products that were totally cruelty-free from parent company all the way down to the individual ingredients, we decided 'why not make our own?'
We're passionate about animals (our labrador Harper oversees operations in our workshop) so that's why we don't test any of our stuff on them, and don't use any animal products in our salts. Say hello to cruelty-free, vegan goodness!
